Vertical Construction Expands for DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

    They paved paradise and put up a…multi-level Disney Vacation Club resort. While taking a spin on the resort loop monorail this afternoon, we decided to point our camera in the direction of the ongoing efforts to build a DVC tower as seen in the concept art below.

    The 10-story tower will be placed between the existing Polynesian Village Resort buildings and the Wedding Pavilion for Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. The tower replaces the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. Here’s a look at the latest work as seen this afternoon!

    Before we take a look at the expanding vertical construction, here’s a look at the area where work will likely go vertical next.

    Here’s a look at the early vertical construction of what appears to be an elevator shaft, although walls are expanding to the immediate area.
