A permit has been filed by Coastal Steel for “General Construction” on Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. The permit doesn’t list anything specific as to the nature of the work, but Coastal Steel filed a permit back in late 2020 for work on Cinderella Castle ahead of the transformation and 50th Anniversary decor installation in 2021.

If we were to speculate, it’s possible that Coastal Steel will either remove or modify the existing 50th Anniversary decor on Cinderella Castle. With the 100th Anniversary of The Walt Disney Company already being celebrated at Disneyland, it remains to be seen how Disney World will celebrate. As of publish time, Disney World has only announced a Disney100 show at EPCOT set to debut later this year.
