Walt Disney World has announced that CommuniCore Hall will be closed starting May 12th as it is transformed into “GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall”. The new, limited-time experience is part of the Cool Kid Summer initiative to bring more child-friendly experiences to the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts this summer. CommuniCore Hall Becoming “GoofyCore” Hall
Playtime gets a Goof-tastic twist. Get ready to dance and play along with Goofy in this immersive experience. Show off your best moves in DJ-led dance parties and join your favorite games with silly – or should I say goofy? – twists, like Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks.
To make way for all the goofiness, CommuniCore Hall will be temporarily unavailable beginning May 12 and will reopen May 27 as “GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall”. CommuniCore Plaza and Mickey & Friends will remain open during this time. And while you’re exploring EPCOT during Flower & Garden Festival, keep an eye out as Farmer’s Feast food options might be sprouting up at Florida Fresh just outside CommuniCore Hall.
