Deconstructed Dish Food Studio Review – 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Arts

The 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway, and as part of our coverage, we’re going to review the Food Studios. Here’s our Deconstructed Dish Food Studio Review.

Deconstructed Dish is a returning Food Studio and is located near Port of Entry.

    Deconstructed BLT – $7

Deconstructed BLT: Crispy pork belly, soft-poached egg, brioche, watercress espuma, and tomato jam

    Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

We’ll start with the strongest item of the booth. First, let’s take a minute to comment on how fun the “deconstructed” concept is. This is a classic Festival of the Arts Outdoor Kitchen that we hope sticks around for years to come.

The BLT is an amazing dish that only loses a half star because the pork could be a bit better. That said, the half star almost feels unfair because this is a phenomenal dish that we will be enjoying again at some point. With the deconstructed concept, you’ll want to make sure that you work left to right, starting with the pork and collecting a bit of each of the accompaniments as you go along.

Deconstructed French Onion Soup (NEW) – $6.50

Deconstructed French Onion Soup: Beef broth ravioli, Gruyère espuma, onion bread pudding, and onion textures

    Rating: 5 out of 5.

What a surprise hit the Deconstructed French Onion Soup is! It took us a while to get over the sight of ravioli after our experience at the Italy Outdoor Kitchen, but this is an amazing offering.

Just like the BLT, this requires a bit of “work” to get the dish ready to eat, but simply break open the ravioli and enjoy.

Deconstructed Key Lime Pie – $6.25

Deconstructed Key Lime Pie: Flexible Key lime curd, “Key lime” mousse, graham cracker cake, and meringues (Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine – Green)

    Rating: 4 out of 5.

As photogenic as it is tasty, the Deconstructed Key Lime rounds out a very solid lineup from Deconstructed Dish this year.

    Beverages:

    • Deconstructed Apple Pie à la Mode: Apple-Cinnamon Gelato, Cinnamon Apple Cider, Apple Pie Filling and Streusel (non-alcoholic) – $4.75
    • Short’s Brewing Bellaire Brown Ale, Bellaire, MI – $3.50
