Today is the final day of operation for The Great Movie Ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. After 28 years of operation, this opening day attraction will close to make way for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Clocking in at roughly 22 minutes in length and fitting up to 70 guests per “moving theater” vehicle, The Great Movie ride served as the centerpiece attraction for Disney’s Hollywood Studios since its opening. As we say goodbye today, we wanted to share a video that we put together. The video is composed of a full ride-through of the attraction plus other cuts we were able to take during a recent walking tour. Enjoy!
