Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is part of the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, and it opened on April 22, 1998. It is the largest of the four Walt Disney World theme parks by acerage, covering over 580 acres, and is dedicated to the natural environment and animal conservation. The park combines traditional theme park attractions with opportunities to observe animals in their natural habitats, blending entertainment, education, and conservation efforts.

The park is divided into several themed areas:

Oasis
This lush entry area features animal exhibits and sets the tone for the adventure ahead. It works as an effective reveal for the Tree of Life on Discovery Island ahead.

Discovery Island
At the center of the park is Discovery Island, home to the iconic Tree of Life, a massive artificial tree with over 300 animal carvings. The area features “It’s Tough to Be a Bug!”, a 3D show based on the Disney-Pixar film “A Bug’s Life”.

Africa
This area includes the Harambe village and “Kilimanjaro Safaris”, where guests can observe African wildlife in a savanna setting.

Asia
Features attractions like “Expedition Everest”, a high-speed roller coaster, and “Kali River Rapids”, a river rafting ride.

DinoLand U.S.A.
Inspired by dinosaurs, it includes “Dinosaur”, a thrilling dark ride.

Pandora – The World of Avatar
This immersive land is based on James Cameron’s “Avatar” and includes “Avatar Flight of Passage”, a 3D flight simulator, and “Na’vi River Journey”, a grogeous boat ride through a bioluminescent forest.
