Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom begins accepting reservations tomorrow, October 28th, for seatings starting November 8th. The change gives guests a way to plan ahead for a Discovery Island favorite that has long relied on walk-up seating. Until November 8th, tables at Nomad Lounge remain walk-up only.

Nomad Lounge sits on Discovery Island next to Tiffins Restaurant, along the Discovery River just outside the entrance to Pandora. Its small plates, specialty cocktails, and churros have made it a favorite of ours for years. Starting tomorrow, guests can lock in a table instead of hoping one opens up.
Nomad Lounge Reservations Open October 28th
Disney confirmed the timing as follows: “Nomad Lounge will begin accepting reservations on October 28, 2026, for seatings beginning November 8, 2026.” That puts the first bookable date 11 days after reservations open. Guests planning a mid-November trip or beyond can secure a table well before they ever arrive at the park.
Seating stays walk-up only until November 8th, Disney says. After that, Disney says both dining reservations and walk-up availability have limited capacity. That wording suggests the walk-up list will continue alongside reservations for guests who decide to stop in on a whim.
Disney has not said how far past November 8th the booking calendar will reach. Most Walt Disney World restaurants open reservations 60 days in advance, so a similar window would cover much of the holiday season. Guests also need valid admission, and depending on admission type, they may also need a theme park reservation.
Reservations and the $49 Passholder Offer
The timing lines up with the $49 Nomad Lounge Passholder offer, which began October 20th and lasts through December 18th. Passholders can order 2 small plates and 2 beverages for $49, plus tax and gratuity, daily from 3:00pm until close. Disney says reservations for the offer are highly recommended for seatings beginning November 8th, though not required.
Guests who only want a quick treat have another option. Since October 14th, Nomad Lounge To Go has offered mobile order churros for $11, with pickup windows in the My Disney Experience app. Churros are the only item on that menu, so cocktails and the rest of the small plates still call for a seat at the lounge or a walk-up to the bar to order to-go.
Reservations take much of the guesswork out of a Nomad Lounge visit. For anyone planning a November or December trip to Animal Kingdom, tomorrow is worth a calendar reminder.
