Disney says Walt Disney World Resort Passholders can enjoy 2 small plates and 2 beverages for $49 (plus tax and gratuity) at Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The offer begins October 20th, ends December 18th, and is available daily from 3:00pm until close. Reservations for the deal become available November 8th and are highly recommended, though not required.

Nomad Lounge Passholder Offer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Nomad Lounge has been a favorite of ours for years, and we covered its churro changes during a 2022 visit. The lounge sits in Discovery Island next to Tiffins Restaurant, just outside the entrance to Pandora. Now Passholders have a set-price way to sample its small plates and specialty beverages, starting October 20th.

The lounge is a “refreshing oasis” for Passholders, according to Disney, and the offer covers select small plates and select beverages.

What Passholders Can Order

Disney says the offer excludes the Charcuterie and Cheese Board and does not apply to substitutions or add-ons. Eligible menu items may change without notice. Here are the items Disney has named so far, and Disney says there are more:

SMALL PLATES

  • Chinese Five-Spice Glazed Chicken Wings
  • Traveller’s Provisions Warm roasted naan bread with a trio of dips
  • Wild Mushroom Dumplings

BEVERAGES

  • Leaping Lizard Alcoholic beverage
  • Hibiscus Henna Nonalcoholic beverage

The named beverages include both an alcoholic and a nonalcoholic option. The offer is dine-in only, so it applies to guests who sit down at the lounge. We recently spotted a Nomad Lounge To Go page in the My Disney Experience app built around the lounge’s churros, but that mobile order option is separate from this offer.

How Much Passholders Can Save

Disney does not list a savings amount, so we compared the $49 price with current Nomad Lounge menu prices. Small plates cost $11 to $18, the Leaping Lizard is $19, and the Hibiscus Henna is $7.75. Guests who pair larger plates with cocktails come out ahead, while guests who choose lower-priced items see a smaller benefit.

Here are three examples at current menu prices, before tax and gratuity:

  • Traveller’s Provisions ($18), Sticky Pork Ribs ($18), Leaping Lizard ($19), and Hibiscus Henna ($7.75) total $62.75, which saves $13.75
  • Wild Mushroom Dumplings ($14), Traveller’s Provisions ($18), Leaping Lizard, and Hibiscus Henna total $58.75, which saves $9.75
  • Wild Mushroom Dumplings, Traveller’s Provisions, and two Hibiscus Hennas total $47.50, which costs $1.50 more than the offer

Disney has not said which other beverages qualify, so cocktails priced at $19 or $20 could widen the savings if they are eligible.

Reservations, Guest Limits, and Park Entry

Seating at Nomad Lounge is walk-up only before November 8th. Starting that day, guests can make reservations, and Disney highly recommends them. Dining reservations and walk-up availability are both limited, Disney says.

Disney lists these conditions for the offer:

  • Valid for Walt Disney World Resort Passholders and up to 3 guests
  • Not valid with dining plans
  • Cannot be combined with any other discount, offer, or promotion
  • Subject to availability, change, or cancellation without notice or liability

Park entry follows the usual Passholder rules. Passholders need valid admission and a theme park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or they can visit after 2:00pm or on a good-to-go day without a theme park reservation, subject to blockout dates. Because the offer begins at 3:00pm, the after 2:00pm window gives Passholders without a reservation time to enter and get settled. Disney says theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability, and requirements may change.

At the time of purchase, Passholders must present their valid Annual Pass ID in the “Tickets and Passes” section of their My Disney Experience app, along with a valid government-issued photo ID. Passholders who have not yet linked their pass can connect it to their My Disney account first.
