Epic Universe is preparing to keep its gates open well past sunset this fall. Universal Orlando has offered the first look at a brand-new way to experience the park after dark with Universal Nights. So far, two October dates are on the calendar, and there’s a starting price to plan around. Here’s what we know so far.

Universal Orlando has announced Universal Nights, an all-new after-hours event coming to Epic Universe. As for when, it debuts on two Saturdays: October 3 and October 17. Billed as a limited-capacity party under the stars, it invites guests to experience the park in a different light. That means nighttime access to attractions, entertainment, character interactions, and more.
What Universal Nights Includes
Universal Nights is a separately ticketed, limited-capacity event, so the crowds will be lighter than a standard park day. Guests get nighttime access to the park’s attractions, live entertainment, and character interactions across the evening. Universal is also including complimentary specialty snacks and beverages as part of the experience. Think: Disney After Hours, but at Universal.
Also worth watching is the limited-capacity framing. Because fewer guests are in the park after hours, waits are generally shorter, and there’s more room to move. That’s a huge part of the appeal for this kind of hard-ticket event.
Event Hours and Ticket Pricing
The event runs from 9:00pm to midnight on both dates. However, guests holding a ticket can arrive as early as 7:00pm to enjoy the park before it officially begins. As part of that early window, you’ll also have a chance to catch Universal Celestial Goodnight, the nighttime show at Epic Universe.
So that two-hour head start means your ticket effectively buys five hours in the park on event night.
Tickets go on sale on August 13 and start at $179.99 plus tax per person. Universal has said more details will be shared in the weeks ahead.
