• From January 2025 through April 2025, Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. During this time, Guests are welcome to swim in the Duck Pond Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
• From September 8 through late October, the Fantasia kiddie pool and water play area at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be closed for maintenance. During this time, the Fantasia Feature Pool and Duck Pond Pool will remain open and Guests are also welcome to use the kiddie pools at Disney’s All-Star Music and All-Star Sports Resorts. Guests may see or hear maintenance activity throughout the construction period.

2025

• From August 4 through mid-October 2025, Maestro Mickey’s located at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort will undergo a phased refurbishment. During this time, the store will remain open. However, Guests may see and hear construction in the area until the work is complete.

2026

• From January 2026 until late April 2026, the Surfboard Bay Pool and the kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed for maintenance. During this time, the Grand Slam Leisure Pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports will continue to be available. Additionally, Guests are welcome to use the other pools throughout Disney’s All-Star Resorts, including the Calypso Pool, Piano Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort; and the Fantasia Pool, Duck Pond Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.

2026

• From October 2025 through May 2026, Guest rooms at Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will undergo refurbishment, followed by refurbishment work at Jambo House from May 2026 through January 2027. During these times, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area. All amenities will remain available throughout the refurbishment.

2025

• Beginning July 7 and continuing through the end of July 2025, the Zebra Trail terrace at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see or hear work taking place construction in the area.

2026

• From January 26, 2026 to Early May 2026, The Bay Cove Pool, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will temporarily be closed for maintenance. The Bay Lake Pool, the feature pool, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

2025

• From September 2024 through July 2026, refurbishments will occur in select areas of Disney’s Contemporary Resort—including Bay Lake Tower and the Convention Center. Please allow for extra travel time. Guests may also see and hear construction during their stay.

2026 & 2027

• Disney’s Beach Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through 2027. This work may impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available. All pools, resort dining and most other amenities will remain available.

2025

• From January 2025 through June 2025, Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed for routine maintenance (Photos of pool refurbishment). Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. During this time, Guests are welcome to swim at the Tidal, Admiral and Dunes Cove leisure pools.
• Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be undergoing routine exterior maintenance from early June through September 2025 late November 2025. During this time, the porte cocheres will be closed. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available, and most Resort amenities will continue to be offered.

2027

• From January 11, 2027, through April 2027, the Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area and Leaping Horse Libations at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see and hear work taking place during daytime hours. However, the Villas Pool and the Inn Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

2025

• From January 2025 through May 2025, the merchandise locations along Disney’s BoardWalk will be refurbished in phases. Two merchandise locations will remain available for Guests throughout the refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see and hear construction activity in the area.

• Beginning January 13, the Fuentes del Morro Feature Pool and Aquatic Play Area will be closed for routine maintenance and is expected to reopen at the end of January. All other resort pools will be available.
• Beginning March 24, 2025, Sebastian’s Bistro will be closed for refurbishment and is expected to reopen at the end of March. Guests may see and hear construction in the area until work is completed. While the restaurant is closed, we invite you to enjoy the many other dining options at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.

2026

• From Jan. 26 through early May, the Bay Cove Pool, the Cove Bar, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will temporarily be closed for maintenance. The Bay Lake Pool, the feature pool, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

2025 & 2026 & 2027

• From Sept. 2024 to Sept. 2025 July 2026 (UPDATE: extended to July 2026) late 2027 (extended again), refurbishments will occur in phases throughout select areas of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, including the atrium and Bay Lake Tower. Guests may also see and hear construction during their stay.

2025

• From mid-May 2025 to September 2025, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo refurbishment. While all Resort amenities will remain available, you may notice refurbishment work during daytime hours.

2026

• Erosion control work will take place along the sidewalk on Big Pine Trail beginning in early Nov. 2025 through Feb. 2026. Signage will be in place to help redirect Guests to available travel routes. Please be aware the Guests may hear or see construction in the area during daytime hours.
• From early May 2025 through mid-2026, construction will take place near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy. During this time, seating availability around the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool may be limited and Guests may see or hear construction in the area. Guests using bus transportation should follow posted signage to reach the pool area.

2025

• Beginning early May 2025, construction will take place near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy. During this time, seating availability around the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool may be limited and Guests may see or hear construction in the area. Guests using bus transportation should follow posted signage to reach the pool area.
• From early October to early late November 2025, the lobby at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will undergo renovations. Guests may hear or see maintenance in the area until work is complete, and the check-in area may be moved to a modified location nearby. Upon arrival, please follow posted signage and reach out to a Cast Member if assistance is needed.

2025 & 2026

• The Courtyard Pool, spa, and Courtyard Pool Bar at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are scheduled to be closed from January 20, 2025, through late February 2025, for routine maintenance on the Courtyard Pool building.
• As part of the ongoing enhancements at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, phased updates to the lobby, convention center and select areas will begin April 14. Refurbishment work will continue in select areas through mid-2026. Guests may see or hear work during daytime hours. Efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, and most pools, dining, and other amenities will remain available for Guests to enjoy. 
• As renovations continue at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the gingerbread display will not be available during the holiday season in 2025. 

2025

• Beginning September 29 through late November, the Miller’s Road leisure pool at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, Guests may see or hear refurbishment work in the area. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Sandcastle feature pool and the Old Turtle Pond and South Point leisure pools during the temporary closure.

2026

• From May 2025 through 2026, some areas of the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are being refurbished. This work includes the reconfiguration of the front entrance roadway and bus area. While construction activity will be noticeable during daytime hours, efforts will be made to minimize disruptions. All Resort dining, pools and amenities will remain available. Additionally, some views of the theme parks and other surrounding areas may be impacted. Please allow for extra travel time when arriving at or leaving the Resort.

2026

• (Announcement | Permits) From late March 2025 to mid-February 2026, guest rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will undergo refurbishment. While all resort amenities will remain available, you may notice construction during daytime hours.

• Refurbishment work is happening at the Everything POP Food Court through April 2025. The full menu and all seating will remain available for Guests to enjoy. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area.
• From July 28 through early October mid-November, the lobby at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be getting a retro-inspired refresh. The lobby will remain open during construction and all amenities will be available. Guests may hear or see maintenance in the area until work is complete.
• From September 8 through mid-October early November, Petals Pool Bar at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, a temporary pool bar with a modified menu will be available next to Petals Pool Bar. Guests may see and hear work taking place during daytime hours.

• From May 2024 through Spring 2025, some Guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be under refurbishment. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. Most Resort hotel amenities will remain available.
• From August 25 through the end of September, the lobby at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter will undergo a refresh. The lobby will remain open during construction, and all amenities will be available. Guests may see or hear maintenance in the area during daytime hours until work is complete.

• Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort | Beginning July 13, 2024, horseback riding will be temporarily unavailable Monday through Friday at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, due to construction. However, rides may be available on Saturdays and Sundays during this time. Check the My Disney Experience mobile app on Friday of each week to see if horseback riding is happening on the following Saturday and Sunday—and if available, reserve a ride.
• Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort | Now through Fall 2024, work will take place to paint the exterior of buildings throughout Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort & Bungalows, with Guest room balconies also being affected.
