3-Month Refurbishment Announced for BoardWalk Resort Pool & Leaping Horse Libations

Walt Disney World has announced a 3-month closure for the Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area, and Leaping Horse Libations in early 2027. The closure will allow Disney to perform routine maintenance. During the closure, other pools will remain open for guests to enjoy. Here’s the announcement.

BoardWalk Resort Pool Closure 2027

From January 11, 2027, through April 2027, the Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area and Leaping Horse Libations at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see and hear work taking place during daytime hours. However, the Villas Pool and the Inn Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

The Luna Park Pool is a carnival-themed pool that is home to a 200-foot-long waterslide. Make a splash in a 184,217-gallon pool inspired by a 1920s amusement park. Adults can enjoy the serenity of the whirlpool spa, while little ones will surely want to splash it up in the kiddie pool.

Nearby, Leaping Horse Libations is a whimsical carousel-themed bar that features a variety of delicious drinks and some bites for your day at the pool.
