Walt Disney World has changed the posted park hours at three Walt Disney World theme parks for mid-November. The updates were made this afternoon, and they affect Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios on three different days. Some parks gain an earlier start, others stay open longer, and one change falls on the day Animal Kingdom already planned to open late. Here’s a rundown of the changes.
Walt Disney World Park Hours Changes for November 15th, 16th, and 21st

Disney’s calendar now shows new schedules for Sunday, November 15th, Monday, November 16th, and Saturday, November 21st. Each park picked up a different kind of change, from an earlier opening to an extra hour at night. We compare every new listing with the one Disney posted before, so we can get a closer look at what changed.
Magic Kingdom Opens Earlier and Closes Later
Magic Kingdom has the most changes. On Sunday, November 15th, the park now opens at 8:00am with Early Theme Park Entry at 7:30am, where Disney had listed a 9:00am opening and Early Theme Park Entry at 8:30am. The park still closes at 6:00pm that day. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins at 7:00pm, and that night has sold out.
Two later dates gain an extra hour at night. Magic Kingdom now closes at 11:00pm on Monday, November 16th and Saturday, November 21st, up from 10:00pm.
Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios Adjustments
Animal Kingdom changed on two dates. On Sunday, November 15th, the park still opens an hour later than usual at 9:00am, but it now closes at 8:00pm instead of 6:00pm. A late start on that day now comes with a longer evening. Animal Kingdom also closes an hour later on Saturday, November 21st, at 7:00pm instead of 6:00pm.
Hollywood Studios gets an earlier start on Saturday, November 21st. The park now opens at 8:30am with Early Theme Park Entry at 8:00am, half an hour earlier than the 9:00am opening Disney listed before. Regular guests still head out at 7:00pm ahead of Disney Jollywood Nights. Our showtimes post listed the 8:30am opening only for November 7th and 14th. November 21st now joins those two dates.
