After the debut of The Last Jedi trailer, Disney released a brand new Kylo Ren Lightsaber available in Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Specifically branded The Last Jedi, the new lightsaber is sure to fly off the shelves.
The new lightsaber comes with detachable blades, wall mount, hilt stand, and belt clip for $179. The picture below shows both Kylo Ren lightsabers that are available. The bottom one is the old style, and the top one is the new style.
There’s also a difference in the grip/hilt on both. The button on the new one is further down that the old one which gives it a more natural feel when turning on the lightsaber.
Ever since the Rey lightsaber came out with detachable blades, everyone has been asking for the other lightsabers to have them as well. It seems that Disney listened to the request. The blades are very easy to attach and detach which makes traveling easier. Since you can disassemble the blades, you won’t have to worry about it bending or breaking when packing. The blades snap into place and unscrew to remove.
Another great feature about the new lightsabers is that it comes with a belt clip. This belt clip easily slides onto the side of the grip/hilt and removes easily as well. The belt clip is handles the weight of the lightsaber very well.
The new lightsabers take double A batteries which are inserted by unscrewing the bottom red end of the lightsaber.
The Last Jedi is out in theaters December 15.
