Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster is entering its fourth day of unexpected closure at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today. The attraction, which hasn’t operated yet in 2021, is down for “technical difficulties” according to Cast Members. No further explanation was known or communicated to guests.

Cast Members from the front of the park back to Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster communicated the closure to guests. Cast Members we spoke with were not sure when the attraction might resume operation.

Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster is not listed as under refurbishment at this time. While unexpected downtime for any attraction remains relatively rare, we have seen this before with The Haunted Mansion and, more infamously, the Tomorrowland PeopleMover (where downtime eventually turned into a proper refurbishment).

Cast Members in the attraction’s courtyard are encouraging guests to visit other attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this morning. As always, we’ll continue to keep an eye on the latest developments at Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster and around the Disney Parks.

I really appreciate you for taking the time to update people about what is happening in Disney.
