“Make it pink, make it blue!” What does this memorable line from Sleeping Beauty and Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom have in common? Cinderella Castle!

Starting last year, Disney began the process of repainting Cinderella Castle with a “rose pink” and royal blue color scheme. With the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration kicking off in October, Disney is going back over the turrets of Cinderella Castle and repainting them to the royal blue they were last summer. For whatever reason, the color didn’t stick and a shimmering, faded purple color was the result.

Disney began repainting Cinderella Castle weeks ago, and we have an updated look at the latest progress. From what we can see, only a single projection tower turret and center roof are still awaiting a new coat of paint. Here’s a look around!
