Disney World Outsources Easter Religious Services

While Disney World has typically held Easter Sunday services at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the company is outsourcing Easter this year. Instead, they are directing guests to area churches or live-stream offerings. There are no restrictions at Walt Disney World when it comes to health and safety concerns over COVID-19, so it’s unknown if Disney will simply cease to offer Easter services going forward, or if there are some special circumstances that we are unaware of for this year.

    1. After over thirty trips to WDW, I keep watching the feeds, hoping for a turn-around. But none is in sight. his is just another of Cheepak’s moves that have successfully turned me and my entire extended family away form there. It just seems that Disney no longer wants my dollars, so I won’t be giving them any.

    2. There has been an ongoing discussion that my rabbi and other religious groups I’m affiliated with since we requested for Disney to host services for other faiths at the Contemporary as well. A member of our community wanted to pursue it further and challenge it this past year, so I’m not surprised that they’ve decided not to do it this year.
