As part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, the Odyssey Events Pavilion is playing home to Figment’s Inspiration Station. Part merchandise shop, part popcorn bucket distribution center, and a part festival kiosk, the Odyssey truly is a must-stop location during the festival. One of the fun things that Disney did to enhance the space is they restored the original pin tables from ImageWorks.
These tables will likely go back into storage when the Festival is over, so we wanted to take a closer look at them before it’s too late!
The two tables are at the “back” of the room and open to all guests. When it is busy, the tables are utilized by guests looking to find a place for their plates or drinks. After the first weekend of the event, Disney added Figment and the Inspiration Station logo to the tables via an under table mold.
Guests are encouraged to run their hands along the underside of the table, pressing the pins up as they do so. The pins are essentially nails without a pointed end.
