We’re two months and a day from the official opening of TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom, and select Cast Member previews for the ride have officially begun! Starting today, Magic Kingdom-based Cast Members and their friends can ride TRON Lightcycle Run following a signup period last month. On Monday, preview rides will begin for all eligible Walt Disney World Cast Members.
As part of the testing, we’re getting our first close look at the attraction costumes thanks to some friendly Cast Members at the Tomorrowland entrance to the ride. The Cast Members are known as “Programs” as part of the backstory of the attraction, while guests are known as “Users”, which designates them as visitors to The Grid versus the Cast Member residents.

As part of the previews, the Storybook Circus pathway is closed past The Barnstormer ride, so these photos from a distance through the rain will have to suffice.
