Disney World has announced that the walkway connecting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Magic Kingdom will be closed beginning February 13th due to ongoing work on a nearby building. Disney World has not announced a specific date for reopening, but said it will reopen in “late spring”. Here’s the announcement:

As we prepare to refurbish more guest rooms and buildings at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the walking path between Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom Park will be temporarily closed beginning Feb. 13 and is expected to reopen late this spring. Boat and monorail transportation will remain available to Guests traveling to Magic Kingdom.
