Disneyland Paris Braces for a Summer of Disruption as Cast Member Strikes Continue to Impact Guest Experience

As Cast Member strikes continue at Disneyland Paris, a group of striking Cast Members have successfully prevented tonight’s nighttime fireworks show.

Reporting from the DLPReport twitter account over the past few days and weeks has revealed a tense situation in Disneyland Paris as workers strike for higher wages and better working conditions by interrupting entertainment within the park. Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski reportedly sent a video to Cast Members saying that negotiations will take place in August, but not sooner – setting the stage for a summer of disruption at Disneyland Paris.

Social media users have expressed support for Cast Members, but also frustration at the situation on the ground.

Disneyland Paris has received shout-outs from Disney executives as really turning around its financial situation in recent months, but no comments from Burbank about the strike, guests are left in the dark this summer…kind of like Sleeping Beauty Castle was tonight after the nighttime spectacular was canceled.
