New to the 2023 version of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the roaming Powerline Dance Party. Last year, the Powerline Party Time pre-parade debuted as a Main Street USA-exclusive dance party ahead of the arrival of the “Boo-To-You” Parade. While the addition of Max Goof as Powerline was certainly a hit, the very limited window and location of his appearance meant a limited number of guests could see him during the party.

This year, Powerline and his dance party troupe expand beyond just Main Street USA, visiting two Tomorrowland locations before the “Boo-To-You” Parade(s). When we visited Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the roaming Powerline Dance Party started at the Rockettower Plaza stage around 7:50pm. After a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it performance of “Stand Out”, the dance troupe made their way to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe where they performed “I2I” before leaving to get ready for the pre-parade performance on Main Street USA. In total, the roaming dance party was out for roughly 15 minutes between the two locations.

While walking between the Rockettower Plaza stage and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, Max’s Power Party Mix continues to play as guests dance along while Max passes by to his next stop.

Once the roaming dance party made it to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe (around 8pm), they had time for a single performance of “I2I” before getting ready for the Main Street dance party.

On Main Street USA, the pre-parade Powerline Party Time dance party returned this year, although with a slightly shortened and modified route. Guests hoping to dance along should be positioned anywhere along Main Street USA between Casey’s Corner and the Main Street Confectionery. We did not see the Powerline Party Time stop or dance by the Main Street USA Railroad Station this year, unlike last year.
