While we still have a daunting couple of weeks to get through in terms of crowds, Disney World has tipped its hand that the crowds shouldn’t last too long past the first few days of the new year. The Annual Passholder Disney Park Pass theme park reservation calendar has been updated to reflect what might be the last-ever Bonus Reservation dates before a rebrand of the Park Pass system with the introduction of “Good-to-Go Days” next month.
Here are the newly added Bonus Reservations:
- January 4 | Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- January 6 | Magic Kingdom
- January 7 | Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- January 8 | EPCOT
Good-to-Go Days
Starting sometime in January, Disney World will roll out the first “Good-to-Go Days” for Annual Passholders. What is a Good-to-Go Day? It’s a day when a theme park reservation is not required at any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks. While Bonus Reservations are essentially “free” reservations at a single park, you still need to secure a Bonus Reservation. On the other hand, Good-to-Go Days are a day when you don’t even have to think about a theme park reservation – simply walk right into any park.
If you’re confused, I don’t blame you. Disney World has said that they will only announce Good-to-Go Days either days or weeks in advance and that the first Good-to-Go Days will be announced on January 11th. Not that January 11th will be the start of the Good-to-Go Days, but rather, that we will know the first round of Good-to-Go Days on January 11th. We have plenty more thoughts on the rebranding of Bonus Reservations that might make it into an opinion article on day, but for now, hang tight, we still have Bonus Reservations to consider into the new year.
