TRON Lightcycle Run has had an uncharacteristically bad day at Magic Kingdom, remaining closed for more than 4 hours this morning – opening around 1:30pm this afternoon. Since it reopened earlier this afternoon, the attraction has been operating well, but still remains about 50 groups behind the average pace, according to thrill-data.
Throwing out early operations and a recent 4:30pm closure for Magic Kingdom, today is on pace to be the worst operating day for an attraction that is typically quite reliable. As of publish time at 8:10pm, TRON has processed just about 100 boarding groups. Typically, TRON will hit the 100 group mark around 4:15pm.

It was down almost all day on my last visit in January.
The one day I get Group 2, this happens. I got called back for my group at 1:19p. The good news is that from tapping at the virtual queue touch point to boarding a Lightcycle took 8 minites 27 seconds.
I blame Dillinger for today’s issues. (If you don’t get the joke, watch the first Tron film.)
