Construction walls have been installed in Pecos Bill, where the Country Bear Jamboree exit is located as work continues on a reimagining of the attraction/show. In addition to the construction walls, the exit doors have also been closed. Up until recently, they have remained open for Cast Members to walk to backstage areas. Here’s a look at the new construction walls up in Pecos Bill and the closed Country Bear Jamboree doors.
The Country Bear Jamboree is being reimagined into the Country Bear Musical Jamboree featuring feature favorite Disney songs and tunes in different genres of country music. Imagineers are working with Nashville musicians to get the authentic country sound just right, including styles like bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly, and other styles. The new show will not only pay homage to the Opry-style shows of Nashville, but also include easter eggs from the beginning to the end including a familiar tune fans may remember.
