The Disneyland Resort has filed a permit with a valuation of $5 million for updates to the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln attraction. The work listed in the permit includes work to replace an existing platform, install a new turntable, work on show elements, as well as lighting and audio/show systems. Additional work listed includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work.
Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln closed on April 16th and a reopening date for the attraction has not been announced. Disneyland has not commented on the work for the attraction, but it seems like significant updates could be on the horizon. There have been rumors of changes to the attraction or additions to show scenes for the Disneyland classic.
The permit was originally misidentified as a permit for Haunted Mansion, but it is for the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln building.
