Walt Disney World has added more Annual Passholder “Good-to-Go” dates for next week. The new reservation-free dates are May 13-15. We should be heading into a slower period over the next two weeks or so at Walt Disney World, so we don’t anticipate any dates selling out for Annual Passholders between now and Memorial Day.
As a reminder, Good-to-Go Days are days when Annual Passholders will not be required to make a Disney Park Pass reservation to visit the Walt Disney World theme parks. On all other days, Passholders are required to make reservations if they wish to visit any theme park before 2pm, or Magic Kingdom on the weekends.
That said, we’re not fans of the Good-to-Go Days system, and think it’s quite pointless in its current implementation. It would be much better if Disney World was able to make something like 70-80% of days throughout the year “Good-to-Go” while requiring Park Pass reservations during the busiest few weeks of the year. Currently, roughly 25% of dates have been marked as “Good-to-Go” since the program launched in January.
