Disney World has filed a notice of commencement permit for the installation of new signage at the Country Bear Jamboree building. It’s unclear if the permit covers the installation of the new marquee, or simply signage found around the building’s interior and exterior.

The contractor listed is the Jon Richards Company. The Jon Richards Company has worked with Disney and Universal in the past, and even worked on the iconic Universal Globe found outside of the entrance to Universal Studios Florida (pictured below).

The Country Bear Musical Jamboree is a new show replacing the former Country Bear Jamboree. The musical jamboree will be a new show that pays homage to the Opry-style shows of Nashville. While the Country Bear Musical Jamboree will include easter eggs from the beginning to the end including a familiar tune fans may remember, the bears will sing new, reinterpreted Disney tunes in different genres of country music – like bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly and other styles.
