While taking a lap on the monorail back to the Transportation & Ticket Center this afternoon, we grabbed some updated photos of the front of the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. For our latest look at Seven Seas Lagoon, theme park view side of the resort, check out our article below.
Back to our trip past the site earlier today, we can see that some of the rooms now have railings installed on the balconies, similar to the Lagoon side of the hotel.
As we start to pass by the main entrance, we can see what appears to be a trellis running up the side of the front of the resort.
We can see that there are some more railings installed in the central wing of the hotel structure. A high-reach crane was working on the roof element at the penthouse rooms. We also got a closer look at the porte cochere. Some curbing has been installed as well.
A wall is nearly complete on the ground level of the front of the south wing.
