As part of a Toy Story Land announcement, Disney also announced that they wouldn’t be changing the name of Disney’s Hollywood Studios “for the foreseeable future”. Of course, Disney CEO Bob Iger infamously let it slip that the park would be undergoing a name change at some point, but it appears such a name change is now on hold.
Disney reasons that the name will remain “[because] we are immersing our guests in a place where imagined worlds of Hollywood unfold around them from movies and music, to television and theater.”
A few months ago, you may remember a survey that asked respondents to rate a list of potential name changes, but it appears none were positively received.
