Splash Mountain is currently under refurbishment, but that won’t stop Disney from introducing another refurbishment in early 2018. According to the Disney World website, Splash Mountain will not be operating from January 8th – February 1st, reopening on February 2nd.
While Splash Mountain normally undergoes a yearly refurbishment, it’s unusual for the attraction to be down twice in such a short span of time. The current refurbishment saw a repainting of most of the facade.
