Construction walls are down today at the walkway that connects Guest Relations to Future World East at Epcot.

While the pathway wasn’t open when we walked by earlier this morning, a segment has since opened, but not all the way to Guest Relations.

We finally get a better look at the sleek, new lighting fixtures that will hopefully decorate the rest of World Discovery when the Epcot Overhaul Project is complete.

Beyond the lighting fixtures, we can see the repainted structure that was the former Universe of Energy building.

Here’s a much better look at the characters on the wall than we had from the monorail when they first appeared.

Over at Guest Relations, we can see where the pathway will eventually connect with the front of Epcot. Of course, it’s likely that the Spaceship Earth pathway work will need to be completed before the full route opens.
