Disney has just released an extensive update on resorts, dining experiences, and more! If you want to read the entire update, check out our earlier post.

As part of the update, Disney reaffirmed that Character Dining will not be offered during the “initial reopening”. Disney has not stated when the “initial reopening” period will end.

In the latest update, Disney said that only one character dining experience will take place at Walt Disney World. A “modified Character Dining experience” will take place at Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Disney hasn’t stated what the modified character experience will be, but at Shanghai Disneyland, characters parade through the resort while maintaining social distancing protocols. It’s possible that we could see a similar experience at Topolino’s Terrace when it reopens, but details have yet to be confirmed.
