Construction is underway in a corner of the seating area for Woody’s Lunchbox at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The construction takes over less than a quarter of the total seating area, and is to the left of the location when facing the two registers.
First, here’s a look at the area before construction began. The area in question is between the K’NEX tower and the registers. Previously, this area was one of two areas for condiment/silverware distribution.
Here’s a look at the area today.
A peek past the hedges shows a very slightly expanded area as well as some new construction of the red poles.
It’s unclear what the construction is for, but it’s possible that Disney is expanding the seating area. Again, this is a very slight expansion and might accommodate 5 tables. Disney has not commented on the work.
If Disney is looking to expand food seating area in Toy Story Land, a new restaurant named Roundup Rodeo BBQ sits vacant and unfinished nearby.
