It feels like TRON Lightcycle Run could open any day now at Magic Kingdom, but unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a little bit longer until the April 4, 2023 opening. While we wait, crews are taking advantage of the next few weeks to clean and repaint Space Mountain, which is an aging structure that sits right next door to the new TRON roller coaster. Periodically, Space Mountain gets an exterior cleaning, and this cleaning was previously scheduled to ensure that Space Mountain was looking its best when TRON opens. Here’s a look at the work we spotted earlier today.
