Disney Board of Directors Forms Committee to Find Bob Iger’s Replacement

    Disney has announced that newly appointed Disney Chairman Mark Parker will chair a committee to find a replacement for current Disney CEO Bob Iger. Here’s the announcement of the Succession Planning Committee of the Board, which will review internal and external replacements for Iger:

    Mr. Parker will also chair a newly created Succession Planning Committee of the Board, which will advise the Board on CEO succession planning, including review of internal and external candidates. Mr. Parker served as NIKE’s Chairman and CEO until 2020, when he became Executive Chairman.

    Iger’s contract ends on December 31, 2024.
