Walt Disney World has no current plans to reduce the price of the Savi’s Workshop Custom Lightsaber experience following price cuts to the Disneyland version of the build-a-lightsaber experience. According to conversations we’ve had with Cast Members, the price cut is exclusive to Disneyland, although a reason for the price cut isn’t currently known.

Basic supply and demand would suggest that demand at Disneyland has dropped, but it could also be that Disney wants to entice repeat customers at Disneyland with a fully refreshed lineup of lightsabers. Walt Disney World still does not have a full refresh of the lightsaber parts at Savi’s Workshop, with Elemental Nature still not updated.

Currently, the price of the Savi’s Workshop Custom Lightsaber experience is as follows:

• Disneyland: $220
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $250
