The Disney Vacation Club tower under construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has reached new heights as the elevator shaft has been extended higher than any other structure at the hotel. While taking a ride on one of the many watercraft that Disney operates between its Magic Kingdom area hotels and the theme park, we got a new vantage point for our coverage of the construction. Here’s a look at the latest progress from earlier this morning.





Some pre-fabricated concrete windows sit on a flatbed nearby, perhaps for installation later today or tomorrow.




We also jumped on the monorail for a look at the construction from an elevated perspective.



The Disney Vacation Club tower is expected to open in late 2024 at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney has released the following concept art. The concept art appears to show that the building will be 10 stories tall at its maximum height.
