After extending TRON Lightcycle Run operating hours by 90 minutes today, Disney World will continue to extend operating hours tomorrow to 8pm, offering the first after-dark rides during the soft opening period. Sunset is scheduled for 7:39pm tomorrow, meaning that guests who are in the final Boarding Groups of the evening will have a chance to experience the ride after the sun sets. In our opinion, the nighttime ambiance created by the Upload Conduit canopy and speeding Lightcycles is second to maybe only Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Of course, Disney World is making it tough for guests to even experience Pandora after dark with limited nighttime hours this spring.
