The Grid. A digital frontier. In Magic Kingdom, TRON Lightcycle Run is in a soft opening operation through April 2, 2023 ahead of its April 4th grand opening. The soft opening gives some guests a chance to ride it early but is mostly utilized to help Cast Members hone their operational skills ahead of widespread availability.
During the soft opening today, TRON Lightcycle Run will operate with reduced hours when compared to the rest of Magic Kingdom attractions. Today, TRON Lightcycle Run will operate from 9am to 6pm, closing early and possibly too early to enjoy the wonderful nighttime ambiance of the area.
Hours haven’t been posted beyond today’s date, so it’s possible that if things go well today, Disney might extend the hours, but nothing is guaranteed during a soft opening.
