Updated Look at Disney Vacation Club Tower Construction Offers Preview of the Front of the Resort

While visiting Magic Kingdom recently, we decided to take a lap monorail and get an updated look at the front of the Disney Vacation Club tower construction. As you may know, Disney has only released concept art of the back of the resort, but with construction progressing nicely, we can see the front of the resort starting to take shape beyond just blocks of concrete.

We’ll work across the construction site from south to north. That is, from the existing longhouses toward the Grand Floridian Resort.

We can see that work is underway on a foundation for the south wing of the resort. It hasn’t gone vertical yet, but we will soon see that the north wing of the resort has gone vertical.

It’s been a while since we’ve shared photos from this side of the construction site, so here’s an updated look at the front of the tower and what looks like the entrance to the tower.

Here’s a look at the rooms that will face out of the front of the resort, toward the golf course across the street.

We’ll continue to the north as we start to see the north wing construction. The concept art appears to show the wing connecting completely to the main tower.
