Disney Parks has announced that David Duffy, former VP of Entertainment for Disneyland Paris, will be returning to Walt Disney World.

Duffy went to Disneyland Paris in November 2020 following work as an executive producer on a number of Disneyland-based projects including:
- Tale of The Lion King Stage Show, Disney California Adventure, June 2019
- Star Wars Galaxy’s Grand Opening Celebration, Disneyland Park, June 2019
- Mickey’s Mix Magic Fireworks and Media Spectacular, Disneyland Park, January 2019
- Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (Formerly Disney Parks and Resorts) D23 Keynote Presentations; multi-years at Anaheim Convention Center and Tokyo Disneyland
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout Grand Opening Ceremony, Disney California Adventure, June 2017
- Frozen- Live at the Hyperion Stage Show, Disney California Adventure, May 2016
Prior to his work at Disneyland, Duffy was a creative director for the Disney Cruise Line entertainment division during the development of the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. He also served as the creative director for Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa leading the development of the cultural enrichment programs and family and youth activities.
Duffy started his career with Walt Disney World back in 1989 as an actor, moving through the ranks to become a show director before working for Disney Cruise Line.
