There’s some new themed pavement in Froniterland, and we couldn’t be more excited. The pavement in front of the Froniterland Shootin’ Arcade has been updated to be themed to a muddy hitching post instead of the stamped brick of the past.

And here’s a look at the updated pavement from a visit to Magic Kingdom today. The new pavement design rather convincingly replicates a muddy hitching post area, complete with boot marks and horseshoes, along with other theming. Here’s a far too detailed look at the area.
The rest of Frontierland mostly contains simple red pavement that is more functional as part of the high-traffic parade route than something that would be considered highly themed.
