File this one under unexpected. The long-closed Prairie Outpost and Supply will be reopening…as a hat shop. The location previously was the home to sweets and treats, but will reopen “soon” as an apparel shop specializing in a variety of hats, according to Walt Disney World. Here’s the latest.

The candy store version of this location never reopened following the COVID-19 shutdowns – one of many venues to stay shuttered for years. If the filename of the stock image used for the location is any indication, it will likely be operated by Chapel Hats, a third-party company that has a location at Disney Springs.

An exact opening date has not been announced, but Disney says that it will open “soon”.
