EPCOT is looking a lot more green these days with the installation of many of the character topiaries that guests will be able to enjoy during the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Up next in our ongoing coverage of the installation of the topiaries are two Lion King-themed displays, both in a new World Nature location this year.
We’ll start with the newer location of the two and a spot that was previously used for a succulent-covered butterfly display. Located at the end of the walkway from the World Celebration Gardens to World Nature, guests will find Mufasa, Sarabi, Rafiki, and a young Simba in a scene reminiscent of the opening christening of Simba.
A fun detail here is that because the display is in a very low-rise curb planter, there is a bamboo fence around the area. Here’s a look at the Lion King topiaries!
Nearby, Timon and Pumbaa can be found in the old Toy Story planter. As a reminder, Woody, Bo Peep, and the sheep are in a flowerbed closer to the Imagination Pavilion.
