For the past four months, The Seas Pavilion at EPCOT has been operating with reduced hours. The aquarium and Finding Nemo ride have been closing early at EPCOT, likely to accommodate ongoing construction and fish sleep schedules. With work starting to wrap up, The Seas Pavilion will return to normal operating hours later this month. Here’s the latest!
The Seas Pavilion Returns to Normal Operating Hours
Starting May 27th, The Seas Pavilion at EPCOT will return to normal operating hours – open from park opening in the morning until park closing at night. For the past four months, the World Nature building has been closing at 7pm, likely to accommodate construction work and fish bedtime at the massive aquarium inside the building.
The Seas Pavilion has been going through a bit of change in recent years, starting with some throwback signage installed in 2019, more visual refresh thanks to new signage in early 2020, new themed pathway lighting in 2023, a facade refresh that continued through 2023, a new National Geographic tie-in in 2024, an ongoing manatee shuffle, the departure of dolphins, and some ongoing work inside the building.
it’s the ongoing work that has led to shorter hours, but that should change by the end of the month as work wraps up. During our most recent update on The Seas Pavilion from mid-April, we saw an expansion of construction. A number of the construction walls have since been removed, and we’ll have an updated look at The Seas Pavilion during our next visit to EPCOT!
