Porte Cochere Construction Begins for Disney Vacation Club Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Still slated to open in late 2024, work is continuing on the Disney Vacation Club tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. While riding the Magic Kingdom area monorail loop, we noticed that work has begun on the construction of the porte cochere for the tower.

Here’s a look at the porte cochere construction as we pass by the DVC tower while riding on the Resort Monorail. There has been no publically released concept art for the front of the resort, so we’re not sure what the finished product will look like just yet.
