Test Track Canopy Completely Demolished at EPCOT

|

Three weeks after it began, demolition of the Test Track canopy is now complete at EPCOT. This marks the first time that the facade of the building has been visible in more than two decades. Disney World will keep most of the facade visible for Test Track 3.0, with a small overhang providing shade for just the main entrance, as seen in the concept art below.

We got a first glimpse at the clear view of the facade during an early morning monorail ride this morning. Unfortunately, a photo directly into the sun through a monorail window is about the toughest conditions at the theme parks for photography, but the internet doesn’t reward a 3pm photo with perfect lighting of something that will be covered at rope drop. Here are some photos from the monorail, followed by some in-park photos!

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
