Toy Story Land Construction Walls Expand, More Land Clearing & New Pavement Work

|

While visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, we decided to drop by Toy Story Land to check in on a construction project for a new snack kiosk. While Walt Disney World hasn’t officially announced the project, data from the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District suggests that the work in this area is for a new snack kiosk. Here’s a look!

Since we first checked in on the project, construction walls have expanded to include the full length of the flowerbed near the entrance to the land when walking from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. With the construction walls now stretching the full length of the flowerbed, Disney has cleared the land behind the walls. Previously, the green building seen in the photos below was hidden behind foliage. Here’s a before/after of the recent changes.

In addition to the expanded construction walls and removed foliage, there is some pavement work taking place nearby that is likely connected to the project. It’s possible that the pavement will soon be cut here to run infrastructure from the right side of the walkway to the left side of the walkway, where the new stack kiosk will be located.
