Disney Golf has added a new Grumpy statue at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course, marking the entrance to the recently redesigned four-hole stretch known as “Grumpy’s Gauntlet”. The new statue features Grumpy as he warns golfers that “there’s trouble a-brewin'”. Here’s a closer look!

The statue stands next to the tee box on hole No. 14, the first of the four redesigned finishing holes. Grumpy’s Gauntlet runs through holes 14-17, a demanding back-nine stretch that challenges golfers of all skill levels.
The Grumpy figure stands roughly six feet tall and was crafted from Carrara marble by Walt Disney Imagineering using an AI-powered stone-carving robot. It depicts Grumpy standing atop a rock with his signature scowl, accompanied by his well-known line from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: “Mark my words, there’s trouble a-brewin’!” The statue is expected to become a very popular photo stop for golfers playing the back nine.
As we’ve covered, the Magnolia course underwent the most extensive redesign in its history, with holes 14 through 17 reconfigured as part of work tied to the nearby Floridian Way roadway project. The redesigned holes debuted under the Grumpy’s Gauntlet name in March 2025, bringing white sand bunkers, new tropical landscaping, and fresh Disney-themed storytelling to the closing stretch.
In addition to the new statue, the Magnolia pro shop has begun carrying a dedicated line of Grumpy’s Gauntlet merchandise, including branded shirts, hats, and a variety of golf-related accessories and collectibles.
The Gauntlet additions are the latest in a series of Disney storytelling enhancements across the course. Every hole on the Magnolia course carries a name tied to a Disney film and features a quote from either Walt Disney or legendary golfer Arnold Palmer, threading Disney magic throughout all 18 holes.
