We made it out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios tonight and noticed a sliver of light coming from The Great Movie Ride. Here’s a look at the old load area. As you can see, the area has been gutted and it even appears some of the flooring has seen a sledgehammer.
It appears that the above photo is of the pre-show area where the film used to play. The vertical lights could be the same ones seen in our tribute video around the 4:18 mark.
We also were able to capture some photos of crews gutting the Alien scene some weeks back.
The Great Movie Ride is being replaced by Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
